Add Multiple Blackboard Connections

What do you do if you go to different schools that user Blackboard? Simple – just add a connection to both accounts. Backpack supports multiple Blackboard account connections. You can add as many as you want (as long as the Blackboard servers are compatible).

To add more than one Blackboard account connections click Download > Download a Course in Backpack.

When the wizard comes up, click the “Click Here to Begin” button.

Next, click the “Choose Another Blackboard Server” button.

Then click “Define a New Blackboard Account.”

Add the login information for the new Blackboard account and click “Connect to Blackboard Now.” (the connection will only work if you are trying to connect to a compatible and enabled Blackboard server)

You can use this process to add Blackboard accounts from separate schools, or to add different Blackboard accounts from the same school. If you add multiple accounts from the same school, be sure to name the accounts in a way that designates the distinction between accounts so you can keep them straight.
